Experiences in implementing monitoring and reporting on SDGs, including the development and use of National Data Platforms 

Presentations on experiences implementing monitoring and reporting on SDGs, including the development and use of National Data Platforms were made by Egypt, Greece and Belarus, as well as a number of UN agencies, namely UNIDO, UN Women and  UNICEF and the UN Statistical Division. There were regional presentations from the African Centre for Statistics and the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, together with presentations from academia and stakeholders on Pradan, 1000 day app and Earth Observation Data…

Nominations to receive travel funding for the 2018 HLPF now accepted

DESA-OISC, with thanks to a generous grant from the European Commission, will be funding a number of representatives of Major Groups and Other Stakeholders from developing VNR countries to participate in the 2018 session of the HLPF taking place from 10-18 July in New York. The selection will be done by OISC in collaboration with the MGoS HLPF Coordination Mechanism Steering Group. The selected colleagues will receive funding to support airplane tickets, two days of daily subsistence allowances and terminal expenses during the HLPF. They will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation during the Forum.
