An explosive start to an unconventional event: the Global Festival of Action is live!

The Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development has kicked off today in Bonn, Germany, to the sound of beatboxing and bold calls for change, action, and inclusion to achieve the SDGs. Check out the wrap up video!

Following the Opening Plenary, Festival-goers created a network with the SDG colors to celebrate action for sustainable development happening everywhere, engaging everyone. Keep reading for an overview of the most exciting moments!

The second edition of the festival has grown not only in size but also in representation and inclusiveness. More than 1,000 participants attended the Festival today, including civil society, the private sector, academia, activists, youth groups, the media and international organizations.
