Event Invitations: Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development (21 & 23 March)

We have received the following from Action for Sustainable Development:

As we push into the 3rd year of implementation for the Sustainable Development Goals, we are keen to continue to share the most inspiring examples of sustainable development in action. That’s why we are delighted to be hosting a number of sessions at the Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development. We believe that the 3 day programme (21-23 March, Bonn, Germany) will provide a key moment for reflection and for joint planning across civil society. We hope you will join us at the following meetings:

  • Wednesday 21 March at 1300-1400, at the Demo Space in the main lobby in front of the Plenary Hall: Update on Action for Sustainable Development, come and hear about our latest developments and find out how you can get more involved. RSVP
  • Friday 23 March at 1130-1300, in the Plenary Hall: People’s Partnerships for the Planet, joint session with GCAP and the World We Want which will highlight how we can plan ahead at national level for the Global Day of Action in September 2018. RSVP

Even if you’re not at the Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development, you can tune-in via the live-stream on UN Web TV

We are keen to share your SDG initiatives via our website. Please take 5 minutes to fill-in our short survey about your projects that are helping to implement and monitor the goals. Also, we have just released a new joint report, which analyses the lessons learned from the government reports at the 2017 High Level Political Forum.

With best wishes,

Global Coordinator, Action for Sustainable Development
