HLPF and ECOSOC HLS Ministerial Declaration

We have been informed that the President of ECOSOC has sent a letter to Member States, confirming that the Ministerial Declaration on the HLPF, as drafted by the Co-Facilitators, will be tabled for adoption on Wednesday 19 July. We must now wait to see what will happen to those issues on which four Member States broke the silence, including those related to gender equality. Hopefully, Member States will express their concerns either before or after the Declaration is adopted.
