Summit of the Future No 37: Rev 1 of Declaration on Future Generations – Letter from Co-facilitators, dated 19 June 2024
Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 4:29PM The Co-facilitators for the Declaration on Future Generations, Ambassadors Yoka M G Brandt of the Netherlands and Brian Wallace of Jamaica have sent a further letter, together with the explanation of the concept, “intergenerational multiplier effect”, which was discussed during the informal consultations on 14 June on para 5 of the Rev 1 of the Declaration on Future Generations. All Member States will be able to state their positions and priorities on a paragraph-by-paragraph basis, with two minute interventions and four minute interventions for groups, beginning with para 15 in the Guiding Principles, on 26 June in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
