Summit of the Future No 28: Applications to be accredited to the Summit of the Future

In accordance with the enabling resolution A/RES/76/307, civil society organizations can apply for ‘ad-hoc accreditation’ to participate in the Summit of the Future. 

Organizations in consultative status do not have to apply but all other organizations should apply using the link in the notice above before the deadline of 31 May 2024.

The President of the General Assembly will then “draw up a list of representatives of other relevant non-governmental organizations, civil society organization, academic institutions and the private sector,” based on transparency, geographical representation and gender parity. Member States will then consider the list on a “non-objection basis”. The list will then go to the General Assembly for final decision.

It is important to apply before the deadline as it will not be possible to be considered after it.
