Major Groups and Other Stakeholders Workshop on Governance, Transparency and Accountability, 18-19 June
Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:25PM A two day workshop is being coordinated by the HLPF Working Group in collaboration with UN DESA-DSD to discuss ways in which the mechanism of Major Groups and other Stakeholders (MGoS) could be adapted to best function in the context of the review architecture to be put in place for the sustainable development agenda at the national, regional and global levels, including the HLPF as well as the other platforms where the review of post-2015 is expected to occur. (The WMG, like all the Major Groups and interested other stakeholders, is part of the HLPF Working Group.)
Please find below links to the provisional programme of the Major Groups and Other Stakeholders Workshop on Governance, Transparency and Accountability, to be held from 18-19 June 2015 in conference room 12 at UNHQ. Since conference room 12 will only seat 100 people we would need to limit the registration to 100 individuals only. In addition, we have provided a WebEx link for those that cannot attend in person; the login information is below. Please note that each session has a different login link. Up to 200 individuals can participate via webex.
If you DO NOT possess a UN Grounds Pass, you will need a Special Event Ticket to attend the session. You will receive a confirmation email by 17 June, 2015 indicating security protocols and procedures to attend the event. Tickets will be issued in accordance with rules and regulations of UNHQ security. Please be sure to read the security information thoroughly before your arrival.
**If you have a valid UN Grounds Pass, you do NOT also need a Special Event Ticket to attend this event. Your UN Grounds Pass will enable you to attend the event.**
