Calling All Young Family Planning Champions: FP2020 Now Accepting Applications for Reference Group Youth Members

FP2020 is seeking applicants interested in a leadership role in the movement to provide insights and expertise to address these challenges and to strengthen young people’s voice and participation within the partnership. Please note that the President of Economic and Social Council, H.E. Mrs. Marie Chatardová, has appointed the two co-chairs of 2018 STI Forum to be held on 5-6 June 2018. They are H.E. Mr. Toshiya Hoshino, Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative of Japan to the United Nations; and H.E. Mr. Juan Sandoval Mendiolea, Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative of Mexico to the United Nations.

Sixth meeting of the IAEG-SDGs, 11-14 November, Update 7

Sixth meeting of the IAEG-SDGs, 11-14 November, Update 6

Eric Swanson, of the Open Data Watch (ODW) gave a presentation on Gender Data and the SDGs during the session on SDG implementation and reporting at national, regional, global and thematic levels. He referred to the 53 indicators among the SDGs, as identified by UN Women to be disaggregated by sex or are gender-specific indicators.
