Upon taking his oath of office in September 2016, HE Peter Thomson made a firm commitment to push forward meaningful progress in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During this session, he will discuss these efforts as well as reform processes regarding revitalization of the UN General Assembly and Security Council, among other issues of relevance for civil society. He will then engage in an open question-and-answer session with civil society representatives, moderated by WFUNA Secretary-General Mr. Bonian Golmohammadi.
