Dear Colleagues,

At the request of the UN DESA Statistics Division, UN-NGLS is facilitating an open, transparent and participatory application process to identify representatives from civil society organizations, academia and the private sector to attend the plenary session of the Fourth Meeting of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Sustainable Development Goal Indicators, taking place in Addis Ababa from 20-21 October 2016. 

IAEG-SDGs Meeting objectives:

• Finalise the initial tier system for indicators
• Establish a process for the refinement of indicators
• Review work plans for Tier III indicators
• Discuss options for those indicators that do not have a proposed custodian agency
• Review data flows from national to regional and global level and discuss best practices for the delivery of these data
