HLPF Theme “Ensuring that no one is left behind”

We have received the following from DESA:

As you may be aware, the ECOSOC at its meeting today adopted a number of decisions that may be of interest to you: 

• In accordance with decision E/2016/L.11, the theme for the 2016 HLPF will be "Ensuring that no one is left behind";
• The ECOSOC FfD Forum will be held from 18-20 April 2016 on the theme of "Financing for sustainable development: follow-up to the Addis Ababa Action Agenda”. The co-chairs of the FfD forum are the Permanent Representatives of Benin and Croatia;
• In accordance with decision E/2016/L.12, the theme of the 2016 ECOSOC thematic discussion, to be held during the ECOSOC high-level segment, will be “Infrastructure for sustainable development for all".
