Stakeholders consultations for Africa

CEDPA reports that the civil society organization consultations for Africa held in Accra, the first in a series of regional stakeholder meetings, "went well"

We have informally heard that the meetings went well, that there was very active participation from a wide range of civil society groups and many young people. These stakeholders now have a better understanding of the ICPD Beyond 2014 process and have pledged to do all they can to ensure that country ICPD implementation reviews are realistic and that the views and issues of vulnerable and marginalized populations are fully taken into account.
