Working with SafeHands to raise funds for water tanks for women in Nkuringo

Despite their hard lives, having to go up and down the mountain to collect water, often more than once a day in the dry seasons, the women love to sing and dance…

Commat is pleased to be working with SafeHands to raise funds for the women in Nkuringo, through the Big Give Christmas Challenge Fund.  www.safehands.org/biggive

One of Commat’s committed trustees, David Cousins, long-time lead-singer / songwriter of Strawbs, a well-known British band, is working with us to help raise funds to buy water tanks to help the women, as part of the Christmas Challenge. He will be singing songs -- some new, some old – at a one-off event, Growing Up In Chiswick,  on Monday 21 November at 7.30 pm, at the George IV, 185 High Street, Chiswick, W4 2RD. Tickets £25.00

Tickets available from https://ticketpass.org/event/EQRUUM/growing-up-in-chiswick

Please join us for a fascinating event that will benefit the women in Nkuringo
