Important Update - CR4 Access / MGoS Daily Morning Meeting / VNR Task Group

If you have any HLPF participants within your delegation who have not signed up to the MGoS Coordination Mechanism please encourage them to do so.

Access to Conference Room 4

At the request of the United Nations Department of Safety and Security, access to Conference Room 4 has been simplified. There will not be a ticket system in place to enter the public gallery of Conference Room 4, access to the room will be on a first come first served basis. A member of UN DESA will remain at the entrance to guide all representatives, however you will not need to pick up a ticket in advance. I have attached a revised and updated Information Note to MGoS participants.

Overflow Room Changes

The overflow room for tomorrow’s opening session, Tuesday 9 July 2019 from 9 – 10am, will be in Conference Room 3. 

The Trusteeship Council Chamber will continue to serve as the overflow room save for during the following sessions:

  • Wednesday 10 July 2019 from 3 – 6pm Conference Room 3

  • Monday 15 July 2019 from 3 – 5pm Conference Room 1

  • Monday 15 July 2019 from 5 – 6pm Conference Room 1

MGoS Daily Morning Meeting

The MGoS Daily Morning Meeting will take place every day throughout the HLPF in Conference Room 1, starting tomorrow from 8 – 9am. The time and location will remain the same each day unless you receive an update. The coordination meeting is open to all MGoS participants.

VNR Task Group

Orsolya Bartha from the SG VNR Task Group shared a document titled ‘ VNR meeting schedule during HLPF’ earlier today (attached). The VNR sessions from 10 – 11am and 1 – 2pm will take place on the 25th floor of the Secretariat building in S25-MM3. All of the remaining sessions will take place in the Secretariat Building on the 27th floor in room S-2726. Please direct any questions regarding the schedule and participation to the group, contact details are included in the document.
