Seventh meeting of the IAEG-SDGs, 9-12 April, Vienna, Austria

The format for the upcoming meeting of the IAEG-SDGs will follow a different format from previous meetings insofar as there will be one day (9 April) for a Members meeting, followed by a three-day Plenary session (10-12 April), which will be open to all countries, international and regional agencies and entities.  Other stakeholders are also invited to attend.

The objectives of the meeting are to:

  • Review the tier classification
  • Discuss the implementation of the guidelines on data flows and global data reporting and the development of a document on best practices in global data reporting
  • Review proposals for additional indicators
  • Discuss progress made on the work stream on data disaggregation
  • Share experiences on implementing monitoring of the SDGs
  • Other related issues

The tentative agenda is available here.
