First UN World Data Forum begins in Cape Town, South Africa on Sunday 15 January 2017

The Opening Ceremony for the First UN World Data Forum will be held in Cape Town, South Africa on the evening of Sunday 15 January 2017. The work of the Forum itself will begin on the following morning with an Opening Plenary at 09.00. Simultaneous sessions will then be held.
