High-level Meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance – deadline TODAY for non-ECOSOC organizations and other matters
Monday, August 15, 2016 at 9:00AM Today is the deadline for applying to attend the UN General Assembly High-level Meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance for organizations NOT in consultative status. The President of the General Assembly has circulated a letter, on behalf of HE Peter Thomson, his successor, inviting Member States to participate at the highest possible level in the High-level Meeting and to consider “as appropriate, to include in [their] national delegations parliamentarians and civil society, private sector academia and other stakeholders working on antimicrobial resistance."
The draft programme has been posted on the President’s website. Documentation for the meeting will also be posted as it becomes available.
