Final draft resolution on follow-up and review of 2030 Agenda circulated by co-facilitators

The President of the General Assembly has transmitted the letter and final draft resolution on follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at the global level to Member States. The draft is currently under silence procedure until today 8 June, noon (NY time) meaning that if no Member State proposes further amendments, it will be considered to be adopted...

The next steps for civil society will be to consider how to use this process most effectively in the follow-up and review of their major concerns in the 2030 Agenda. Together with paragraph 12 of the resolution, resolution 67/290 provides strong possibilities for the input of Major Groups and other Stakeholders (MGoS) into the process going forward. The importance of MGoS in the process has been evident in their inclusion in the negotiation of this resolution.
