UN Regional Commission Meetings for ICPD Beyond 2014

24 – 26 June 2013
UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA- LAC), Cairo
1 – 2 July 2013
UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Geneva
12 – 14 August 2013
UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNECLAC)
2 – 6 September 2013
UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA/AU) Addis Ababa
16 – 20 September 2013
UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Bangkok
These meetings are mandated through the UN Economic and Social Council and will have negotiated outcome documents. As such they will play an important part in the process leading up to the UN Special Session on the follow-up to the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development beyond 2014. As more information becomes available on these meetings and parallel NGO or other events, it will be posted with appropriate links on the www.NGOsBeyond2014.org website.
