In order to include concrete proposals and recommendations for the sustainable development goals (SDGs) from a broad range of stakeholders, the Open Working Group (OWG) co-chairs have decided to convene meetings with representatives from Major Groups and other stakeholders from 9:00 to 10:00 each morning during the OWG sessions.  Each of the morning meetings is organized around the thematic clusters that correspond to the organization of work of the open working group for that day. The session starts with two panelists who present the results of broad and wide consultations and research conducted around the world on specific topics followed by as many interventions from the floor as time allow.

Both the results’ presentations and the interventions will be pre-coordinated with UNDESA’s support to avoid repetition and to make the most efficient use of the hour. Attached is a summary of how these meetings during the third session of the OWG on SDGs unfolded.
