Survey on Beijing +25 review

In 2020, the global community will mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the  adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (Beijing +25). The review and appraisal of its implementation will take place at the sixty-fourth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (New York from 9 to 20 March 2020).

As the regional review meetings for the Beijing +25 are coming up in October and November, working with Women’s Major Group (WMG) members who are leading the Civil Society Organization’s meetings and are part of the Advisory Group for the Generation Equality forums in 2020, APWLD has developed the following short survey, using the 'Anger-Hope-Action' framework, to hear from feminist movements worldwide on (1) the barriers to realizing the Beijing Platform commitments (2) the successes of the feminist movement that we should celebrate and build on (3) the ideas for reforming the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) methods of work and for future themes and vision for what comes next within our movements.
