The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs invites you to attend the second webinar for Major Groups and other Stakeholders (MGoS) in a series in preparation for the 2019 High-Level Political Forum:
The aim of "VNRs 101" is to introduce Major Groups and other Stakeholders to the Voluntary National Review (VNR) process in which countries voluntarily report on their progress towards implementation of the 2030 Agenda at the national level. VNRs are presented annually during the High-Level Political Forum for Sustainable Development and aim to facilitate the sharing of experiences, including successes, challenges and lessons learned, with the objective of accelerating implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The VNRs also seek to strengthen policies and institutions of governments and to mobilize multi-stakeholder support and partnerships for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The webinar will cover key characteristics and objectives of the VNRs, as well as opportunities and best practices for stakeholder engagement in their development.
The VNRs 101 webinar will take place in Spanish, English, and French on three different dates. Please register below:
