As was mentioned on the CM call this morning, the official MGoS side event concept note on the “MGoS Engagement in the HLPF and Review of General Assembly resolution 67/290” has been finalized. We are opening a short application window for MGoS CM members to express interest in speaking at the event through this google form. Deadline: Tuesday, 12 June, 6pm NY time.
Please read the concept note and nomination form carefully. It will be important to highlight the expertise of the nominated speaker on the issues and whether she or he will be representing the views of a particular stakeholder group. While you may self-nominate, including the name of someone who nominates you will be helpful.
The date and time of the side event will be released by DESA very soon.
