The UN Statistical Division (UNSD) has announced that the 4th Meeting of the IAEG-SDGs has been postponed and re-scheduled, due to the "State of Emergency" in Ethiopia, which has meant that many IAEG Members have been unable to obtain travel clearance from their Governments.

The Economic Commission of Europe has offered to host the rescheduled meeting and the new meeting dates will be from 17-18 November 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The UNSD understands that this change of dates may create logistical challenges for some CSOs and has apologised in advance for these inconveniences, while asking for their understanding regarding this change.

All participants that have previously registered to attend the meeting are welcome to attend the meeting in Geneva and the UNSD will be providing more information regarding logistics, hotels, and other meeting information shortly. They will also be in touch in order to confirm the participation of all registered participants.
