Update on Official version of the UN Secretary-General’s Synthesis Report

The official version of the UN Secretary-General’s Synthesis Report (A/69/700) is available in all languages, as noted in our earlier article (See: UN Secretary-General’s Synthesis report on the post-2015 sustainable development agenda available in all UN official languages).

This official version should always be cited when referring to the Synthesis Report, as one of the critically important changes from the unedited version is that paragraph 70 now states “…realize women’s sexual and reproductive health and reproductive rights” instead of “…realize women’s reproductive health and reproductive rights”, as was included in the unedited version. There are other edits, which mainly bring the report into line with official UN language. This, however is a significant change.
