As the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly gets underway IPPF is calling for world leaders to put sexual and reproductive health and rights at the heart of the next generation of development goals.

This is a key moment and we wanted to share with you some of the events that IPPF will be involved with other the next few days.

Highlights include

IPPF’s Director General, Tewodros Melesse addressing the ICPD special session of the UN on behalf of Civil Society Organizations on Monday September 22nd.

Time Square #idecide stunt - On Tuesday September 23rd IPPF is holding a stunt in Times Square to highlight our #idecide campaign – some of the photo wall - will be displayed on digital billboards. Please add your photo by clicking on the link above.

Other events include…

IPPF's Africa Regional Office is co-hosting an event with OAFLA, UNAIDS on September 23rd.

On September 24th we will be holding a joint IPPF/UNFPA event. At this event we will be releasing a briefing to mark progress on our partnership with them in 16 countries which ensures that the most marginalized and vulnerable people benefit from family planning innovations.

IPPF is co-hosting a panel event with Liberia on September 25th which will discuss regional opportunities to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) through and beyond the post-2015 development framework.
