20 – 22 March 2013, Bonn, Germany

The global civil society conference on Advancing the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Agenda, Reconfirming Rights – Recognising Limits – Redefining Goals will be held in Bonn, Germany on 20-22 March 2013. It will bring together civil society activists and representatives from key stakeholders to draw together civil society inputs into the Sustainable Development and Post-2015 discussions.

It is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and is shaped by a  Steering Committee including CIVICUS, Beyond 2014 and Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era (DAWN)

Themes for discussions at the meeting include Securing Human Rights for All, Women’s Rights, and the New Economic Paradigm, with a number of Inter-linkages such as Finance and Development, Social Exclusion and Inequalities and Health and Human Rights.
