My World is a United Nations global survey for citizens. Working with its partners, including the World Wide Web Foundation and the Overseas Development Institute, it provides an opportunity to vote for six out of a list of 16 priorities to inform the world’s leaders as they define the next set of global goals to end poverty. Sexual and reproductive health is not included in the list, but there is a space at the end where it can be written in. Results were submitted to the High Level Panel at their meeting in Monrovia and it is likely that they will also be submitted to the next meeting in Bali.
Looking at the submissions from different countries in the world on the map on the site, there are vast disparities in the voting for the priorities. At the moment the country with most votes is Brazil, followed by the USA and the UK. Very few votes have been received from Africa and parts of Asia and Central Asia.
